I wanna screeeeaaam my heart ouut! lol
Anyhoo, my week has started this way, picture this:
My brother entered the police academy for 40 days & I hadn't had the chance to say goodbye to him coz I was in uni, I've slept for 3 hours ONLY in 2 days, & HE had a car accident; thank god he's awl right.
Now, things have changed, my week cannot be any better *alhamdu-le-allah*. I'm now excited to accomplish more, to study, to graduate, and to live happily ever after..lol. Although it was embarrasing, I never thought it would change my swingly tingly mood since the past 3 weeks. Ahh, it's so hard to keep my mouth zipped and hint, I'm really bad at it :P.
Anyway, I have something to discuss with yew awl over here. Someone on TV said that Marriage is art *which I luv'D btw"*. From what I understood is that in order to create a great artwork, you have to work hard on it in order to present it in a beautiful way to the public, and that means that marriage should be treated in the same way, both couples should work hard on it in order to succeed and communicate well with the society.
But, people are complicating it by inventing techniques and styles in treating one another.
They say: "If he said blah blah blah, u should say blah blah and not blah blah", ahh I mean what the hell?!
Do we women have to study men's attitudes?
Do I have to read books & attend lectures in order to communicate with one?
Why is the media complicating this relationship between a man and a woman?
I mean is it THAT hard?
Ahh that's just unbelievable!

I agree with you, ,and i am currently sucked into this propaganda. I am reading " He's just not that into you" and to be honest with you, this book has been quite helpful when it came to understanding myself and otheres for that matter.Like for example, I never knew what a guy meant when he says " I love you but i am not in love with you". I mean i used to think " WHAT THE F*** DID THAT MEAN", but when i was introduced to the book it simply explains that ' I love you" meant that he doesnt want to hurt your feelings, and the " BUt i'm not in love with you" meant that he's simply not in love with you. And i finally realized what it meant. So yes, It did help me go through some rough times. I also happened to read Chicken soup for the couple's soul, Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus.
Some books are quite helpful and healing, I guess it rationalizes the thoughts in your head and puts them into words when you cant. I dont let a book dictate my life, because they're merely generalizations of human beings behaviours.
People are different, you should just be smart and alert to make sense of their behaviours. Although i do think that some relationship books enlighten you to things you didnt know.
